SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Specialist to support the administration and execution of our compensation programs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in compensation, who thrives in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.

As a member of the Compensation team, you will support the day-to-day compensation operations, conduct job evaluations and market analysis, and act as a resource for HR Business Partners and business leaders. Your work will help ensure consistency, equity, and compliance across our compensation practices.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of base pay, bonus, and other compensation programs
  • Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, and market pricing using salary survey data.
  • Maintain and audit compensation data within HRIS and ensure accurate reporting for internal use and compliance.
  • Support annual compensation processes including salary structure updates, merit cycles, and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to advise on market ranges, job classifications and offer recommendations.
  • Respond to compensation-related inquiries from HR and business leaders, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare compensation reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and communication of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Support compensation-related compliance and reporting (e.g., pay equity, EEO, FLSA audits).
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation or relevant Human Resources role.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a working understanding of compensation principles, practices, labor laws, and regulations related to compensation is critical for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities; experience with compensation systems or survey tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certification or coursework in compensation (e.g., CCP, SHRM-CP/PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience with Workday, Payfactors, or similar compensation management tools.
