Position Summary:

The AVP, Program Lead will lead and coordinate project activities, ISO circular update process, developing GhostDraft forms capabilities, and various other projects. This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects such as implementing Commercial Auto and WC lines of business in Guidewire, develop ISO circular update process for all of GNY's commercial LOBs, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective stakeholder communication, and timely implementation of required changes across impacted systems and processes. Working with Partners Guidewire and GhostDraft to ensure alignment and delivery of related components.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects related to Guidewire implementations (MVP2 Commercial Auto and Work Compensation, Renewal capability, Claims, Reinsurance, etc.)
  • Lead and manage projects related to ISO circular updates, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely implementation across impacted systems and business processes.
  • Work with the Product Team to analyze ISO circulars to determine business impact, define project scope, and plan implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate with regulatory, legal, business, and IT teams to ensure accurate interpretation and application of ISO circular requirements.
  • Manage the forms development and maintenance lifecycle in partnership with GhostDraft, including requirements gathering, review cycles, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive the development of internal capabilities within GNY to support form updates and management independent of vendor reliance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks and issues, and report on status and milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage essential process documentation of functional and technical solutions by collaborating with business and IT to gather business requirements, provide expertise and guidance and help execute plans to enhance business capability, achieve results.
  • Analyze ISO ERC content, discuss observations with business, identify and establish approach for adopting ISO circulars.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Guidewire developers to implement necessary system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements by integrating ISO updates into Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Work closely with Guidewire configuration teams to test and validate changes before deployment.
  • Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in troubleshooting system issues.
  • Stay updated on ISO regulatory changes and industry best practices to enhance system functionality.
  • Implement training and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and Support User Acceptance Testing and User Training.
  • Coordinate and Support and UAT efforts and defect management.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 12+ years professional experience as a Project Manager in P&C commercial lines.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with ISO commercial lines product offerings - coverage, rating, rules, and forms.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, APIs, and Guidewire integrations.
  • Technical proficiency, with the ability to understand data flows and the flow between complex, integrated systems required.
  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance products.
  • Experience collaborating with Business, Development and QA teams required.


Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in working directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gather & document requirements to implement ISO circular updates.
  • Have good organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills, both written and verbal, in both technical and non-technical forums.
  • Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the business of property and casualty insurance marketplace, commercial product offerings, advisory (ISO/NCCI/AAIS) agencies, regulatory and compliance agencies and related business functions.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO circulars, rate changes, and regulatory updates.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to business users.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities.
  • Able to work independently.


The salary range for this role is $117,700-$226,600. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
