The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing efforts for CBIZ's growing portfolio of technology services. This role partners closely with business leaders and collaborates with internal marketing teams to drive go-to-market campaigns activating events and thought leadership, supporting lead generation initiatives, and strengthening the CBIZ brand presence across emerging tech markets and industries.
This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager for the Technology vertical and works in partnership with internal creative, content, and digital resources to bring initiatives to life. The ideal candidate is a strategic, tech-savvy marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at developing relationships with key business partners to execute high-impact marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties: Marketing Strategy & Stakeholder Collaboration *Lead marketing strategy for various technology offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals and a focus on revenue growth and ROI. *Collaborate closely with sales leaders, product owners, and subject matter experts to shape go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning. *Act as the primary liaison between business units and internal marketing teams, ensuring coordinated execution and alignment with broader CBIZ initiatives.
Campaign, Content & Event Execution *Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across email, digital advertising, webinars, and in-person/virtual events to drive engagement and generate leads. *Guide the development of campaign assets-including content, creative, and messaging-to ensure consistency, technical accuracy, and strategic intent across all channels. *Lead planning and coordination of high-impact events, including industry conferences, partner activations, and educational webinars to increase visibility and pipeline activity.
Performance Optimization & Reporting *Work with internal channel delivery stakeholders to analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness, inform future planning, and optimize program execution. *Deliver regular reports and insights to business stakeholders, identifying trends, challenges, and areas for continued improvement. *Continuously refine tactics based on data, stakeholder feedback, and evolving market conditions to improve marketing ROI.
Preferred Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field *5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in technology or emerging innovation solutions (AI preferred) *Understanding of digital marketing channels and CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, ConnectWise) *Experience developing full lifecycle campaigns, sales enablement tools, and content marketing strategies *Ability to thrive in ambiguity, roll up sleeves, and proactively identify opportunities to move programs forward *Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills *Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
Minimum Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred *Or High School Diploma (or GED) and 7 years experience in relevant field *Proficient use of applicable technology, including all Microsoft Suite products *Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally *Ability to travel as required by business #LI-MM2 #LI-Hybrid
