Position Overview

The Deposit Operations Data Analyst position supports the Deposit Operations area by managing the reports, data requests and production databases for all of the Deposit Operations teams with a focus on meeting required deadlines/commitments in a production environment where volume, efficiency, and accuracy are required. This role requires in-depth knowledge of banking and the ability to create detailed reports using the Bank's various data management systems.

Essential Job Functions



  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of banking operations, data management software, and terminology related to banking laws and regulations. Utilizes expertise to resolves complex problems, issues, or questions as it relates to various functions within Deposit Operations with demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure of time constraints.
  • Primary focus is to ensure all requests for reporting are fully vetted and data is complete and accurate prior to delivering to the requestor; assist and resolve production issues related to reports and databases to full resolution.
  • Responsible to maintain accurate reporting as to the stage of assigned requests, ensuring all requirements are documented and validation is performed prior to delivery.
  • Works collaboratively with all Deposit Operations teams to ensure accurate, complete and timely reports are delivered to management team.
  • Serves as data support person for Deposit Operations audit related requests.
  • Develops strong rapport with the lines of business and deposit operations partners.
  • Maintains current knowledge of banking rules and regulations and assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal regulations.


Requirements



  • Associates degree and three or more years of banking experience with a strong focus in data analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Competencies



  • Strong technical skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel & Access, General Database Administration, General Programing knowledge.
  • Ability to accurately manage multiple assignments, goals, ensuring priorities are set and commitments/deadlines are met.
  • Ability to make sound decisions based upon departmental, bank and regulatory policies and procedures, knowledge and experience.
  • Database management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Experience using Jack Henry SilverLake and OnBase, is a plus.


Preferred, but not required



  • Undergraduate degree in related area of study


Location Details:

This position is considered a hybrid role. With management approval, an incumbent may work a combination of remote and onsite work to perform the regular responsibilities of the role. Actual schedule requirements may vary based upon business needs.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $24.35 - $32.00
