RN - Surgery (OR) - Evening shift - La Jolla Green

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN role at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines. This is an evening shift 0900-2130 with call. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires.

Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho, General, Urology, Vascular and Spine. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
• Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating) or successful completion of Scripps' peri-operative training program or an approved external peri-operative training program

  California Registered Nurse License

  Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification

  
  
• 
  

  Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

  Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

  2 + years surgery experience preferred
