What you'll do

As the Program Manager for the Corporate Affairs Team, you will drive the delivery of our strategic initiatives, ensuring the scope, resources, stakeholders and critical partners are aligned through the entire lifecycle of a program. Working across the Corporate Affairs team, and with other functions as needed, this role will ensure success and value of critical projects across sustainability, social impact and government affairs. The role will play a critical role in driving projects such as Sustainability and ESG reporting process across the company, objectives and key results tracking, new software and program roll outs, process change work, as well as support special projects such as the Docusign for Nonprofits initiative, science-based targets plan implementation, government affairs policy program management and project management of the company's Impact Report.

This role requires a candidate with a strategic approach to program management as well as experience with building new programs and successful change management in a matrixed organization. They will be results-driven and action oriented, with a strong business acumen and the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage stakeholder expectations at scale.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs.

Responsibility

  • Deliver internal consulting-type work for projects aligned to our overall strategic priorities

  • Develop project objectives, scope, completion criteria and success metrics, involving all relevant stakeholders

  • Lead change management across internal resources for the flawless execution of projects, managing dependencies between teams

  • Anticipate bottlenecks and support escalation management by maintaining an overview of our transformation and strategic project progress and trade-offs

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes and action items

  • Provide accurate, thorough and timely reporting and communication of progress against projects, and programs

  • Manage and optimize the corporate affairs budget across program priorities

  • Evaluate existing processes, drive process improvement and share best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Support preparation of materials for key governance or stakeholder meetings, including data and input from relevant sources in the wider team

  • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects for the Corporate Affairs team


Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with GTM program management, ESG reporting, and/or corporate reporting
  • 8+ years project and program management experience supporting corporate and reporting initiatives
  • Experience working with ESG data and reports in Google Suite and sustainability reporting platforms
  • Experience working in virtual environment, supporting teams across multiple regions, time zones, and cultures across the world

Preferred

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates problem solving and analytical skills, change management and strategic communications and content development to deliver business impact
  • Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships, driving action and execution without direct authority
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve systems and processes for project management and reporting
  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex project plans and competing priorities for stakeholders, leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify and solve blockers and challenges in a matrixed and fast moving environment
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to work with a great deal of autonomy
  • Experience identifying and driving the right strategic path forward and guiding teams to solutions
  • Dedicated, flexible, accountable, and able to respond rapidly to issues and manage complex situations with high business impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate meetings, lead team events and meetings, and communicate effectively with senior leadership
  • Located in based San Francisco, CA/Bay Area

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $126,900.00 - $197,800.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $120,800.00 - $166,100.00 base salary

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $120,800.00 - $174,525.00 base salary

Washington DC: $126,900.00 - $174,525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
