The core role of the Product Cost Analyst is to ensure accurate product costs are developed and communicated to support Customer quotations of New Products and product changes. The Product Cost Analyst is responsible for the development of costed BOM's, Labor, Tooling, and Capital Expenditures. They collaborate with a cross functional team including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Assembly to build up an expected product cost relative to a bill of material. The PCA is responsible for building a financial model and completing financial analysis to reach a recommendation of a sell price based on history, market status, and financial metrics. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Work with a complex Bill of Materials to develop expected product costed, including raw materials, purchased parts, labor and overhead estimates, tooling and capital requirements for new business or engineering changes to current products
Qualifications * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Business Administration or Finance required.
