This Position reports to:

Senior Operations Finance Manager

In this role, you will act as a business partner to the factory manager by leading local controlling teams to optimize financial performance within the manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC. You will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.

The work model for the role is onsite (#LI-Onsite) in our Mebane, NC facility.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Contributing to the definition of the strategy for Mebane factory. Serving as the key partner for the relevant factory manager in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy, implementing, and making adjustments in implementation as needed. Maintaining constant con-tact with other managers and Controllers regarding financial, market and customer situation and out-look.
- Translating strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets. Overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serves as the interface to North America Management and Finance team. Evaluating financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios and recommends actions.
- Monitoring progress achieved and providing insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues, and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency. Manages and closely monitors the cash flow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital.
- Identifying and communicating commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Executes risk review procedures and processes in line with global policies and standards to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of ten (10) years of accounting experience, preferably in a factory environment
Very good, analytical decision-making and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of SAP, preferably including SAP Torque, and Microsoft Office software applications
Experienced working cross-functionally
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
