Sr. Program/Customer Service Manager Ground Robotics

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the management of Ground Robotics projects and programs by leading cross-functional teams and managing/maintaining customer relationships. iThis position encompasses managing all phases from development to production from concept through completion of Autonomous Vehicle Technologie such as remote and leader-follower automated driving controls, while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure that deliveries meet contract requirements
• Experience leading cross functional teams in proposal development for existing company contracts
• Perform short- and long-range program planning to ensure that objectives are met
• Prepare and distribute program status reports to meet internal and external customer requirements
• Interface with customers and suppliers as necessary to build an effective program focused on common objectives
• Conduct formal and informal reviews with customers on assigned programs to meet contract requirements
• Coordinate with other departments to accomplish all program requirements
• Keep company management informed of all issues, problems, and accomplishments on assigned programs
• Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to effectively manage budgets and to ensure forecasts are achieved
• Ability to manage development and production schedules and timelines
• Proficiency in developing clear drawings, instructions, and procedures
• Advanced presentation and customer interaction skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Successful candidate must possess one of the following: BS degree in Program Management, Engineering, and/or PMP certification, with 10 years of related management experience in defense aerospace electronics or 15 years of experience in defense aerospace electronics to include 10 years in a management position
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in program/project management strongly desired
• Experience developing and managing budgets strongly desired
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint required, MS Project experience
• Working knowledge of contract negotiations
• Working knowledge with defense markets, interfacing with DoD and prime contractor managers strongly desired
• Experience with technical disciplines to include but not limited to RF design, digital design, software development
• DoD MIL Standards and Specifications experience
• AS9100 and ISO9000 experience

• Office and production environment
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to travel, foreign and/or domestic 10% of the time in support of customer products
