Your Opportunity The position summary states the general nature and purpose of the job. Overall accountabilities are defined in this section. The Sustainability team is searching for an ambitious leader to join our team. This individual would be instrumental in achieving Smithfield's goal of sustainably delivering Good Food, Responsibly. The Sustainability Manager is responsible for leading the Sustainability team's efforts and initiatives related to annual reporting, customer audits & survey requests, supplier programs, sustainability metrics and data collection, customer requests, and internal & external sustainability communications. This role manages various projects while working with internal company departments such as Communications, Legal, Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and other Departments as needed to address program requirements and support staff in addressing department responsibilities and initiatives.
