Under supervision, the Purchasing Specialist assumes responsibility for placing orders, receiving/checking in orders, maintaining accurate inventory and charging methods for the entire surgery center. The Purchasing Specialist will also be responsible for picking all surgical procedures for scheduled case from physician preference cards, and for obtaining all special request items when procedures are scheduled. The Purchasing Specialist will be able to provide backup in sterile processing/decontamination areas and instrument assembly when needed. This opportunity will be based at our new Plymouth Bass Lake Surgery Center set to open in the Fall of 2025. 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday with flexibility to float to other Summit locations as needed. Start date TBD depending on experience.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $20.23 to $25.29 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
