The ASC Staffing Coordinator will maintain the surgery centers staffing matrix, ensuring staffing requirements of the surgery centers are met. The ASC Staffing Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the ASC Clinical Manager while monitoring compliance of the scheduling commitments and assisting the ASC Managers with day-to-day staffing schedule to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained in the surgery centers.

This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts. Monday - Friday schedule. Home location is TBD at this time. Must be flexible to float to other Summit surgery centers as needed.



  • Manages daily staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage, space and facilities for optimized patient care.
  • Works with ASC Managers to fill open shifts.
  • Communicates open shifts and reports staffing completion and updates to ASC Nurse Director.
  • Provides information regarding staffing requirements to staff and management.
  • Reports issues and problems to the ASC Clinical Manager and Nurse Director.
  • Provides staffing report to site manager regarding current schedule and staff needed for each shift.
  • Provides and maintains weekly staffing meetings with management and supervisors.
  • Review and prioritize incoming correspondence, telephone calls, email communication, mail and handling routine and high level requests.
  • Perform other related duties, as required and assigned by the ASC Clinical Manager.


Summit's hiring range for this position is $20.23 to $25.29 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
