Seneca Holdings is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in Williamsville, NY. This team member will report to the Payroll Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems Review timesheets for accuracy Process any/all payroll changes required to process biweekly payrolls accurately and timely Minimum Qualifications: At least 5 years of ADP WFN and payroll processing Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws Multistate payroll experience a must ERP system experience Wage garnishment and tax levy experience Union or prevailing wage payroll experience Must be able to work with confidential material/information Must be analytical and have above average organizational and time management skills Must be able to prioritize and work independently or as a team member as needed Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong customer service abilities Desired Skills: ADP WFN experience MS SharePoint experience Multistate payroll experience Experience posting Labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus) Government contracting environment experience a plus Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information Able to work independently Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
