Systems Administrator This position requires an active Secret clearance. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the client's GeoBase operations by interacting developing detailed requirements and specifications for proposed systems enhancements for business process tools. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Systems Administrator: $95,000-102,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Systems Administrator Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and gather requirements for areas where business processes can be improved through automation.
- Interact actively with the various program managers and the client's team of developers for developing detailed requirements and specifications for proposed systems enhancements for business process tools and interacting with the Program Manager at each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Document business process steps and fine tune for accuracy.
- Identify internal control vulnerabilities, weaknesses, bottlenecks, technology gaps, or other areas of concern.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Systems Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- B.A. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with the use and administration of Windows-based servers
- 3 years of experience working with MS Active Directory and/or LDAP directory services
- Experience with the USAF GeoBase Program
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures for enterprise systems
- Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise RDBMS
- Experience troubleshooting desktop, web, database, server problems
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), service level agreement (SLA), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), NIPR, SIPR, and Authority to Operate (ATO)
- CompTIA's Security+ certification
- Utilizing and applying computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of web administration
- Familiarity with web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- Knowledge of Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check
- Expected schedule: 100% onsite at Hickam AFB
- On-site requirements M-F 8:00 - 5:00
- Travel expected No
