The Nursing Unit Secretary performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties. The ideal candidate for this role will possessstrong customer service skills, effective communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task.

This position on the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital is a part time night shift position consisting of 2, 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Days will most often include Sunday and Monday nights with occasional need to work different nights for holiday requirements, swapping a shift with a coworker, etc.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
• Experience: One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
