What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: This role leads, plans, directs, and provides management oversight in their Region to support the growth of DCU. This person contributes to DCU's Success Sharing and Business Goals by building high performance teams that excel in providing solutions to members, delivering an excellent member experience, demonstrates operational excellence and achieves strong employee engagement. They maintain a consistent presence in the branches to coach, develop and engage the team. They provide support and leadership to the Branch Managers and collaborates with other DCU business areas to promote a positive, effective working environment of cooperation, teamwork, and strong results. - Drives strategies that support the solutions-based approach and service excellence culture within the Branch Services network with a focus on relationship building conversations with members, member education and member satisfaction.
- Manage selected Branch Managers by providing ongoing individual coaching and training to develop their leadership skills, assure service excellence, achievement of branch goals, and employee retention.
- Conducts weekly management meetings to ensure effective and timely communications to the Region's leadership team.
- Approves the Branch Business Development Plans in each market to drive market growth, increase visibility and to make a difference in the community that we serve.
- Establish a consistent presence in their Branches to provide advice, guidance, and overall leadership within the Region.
- Supports DCU in the community within their Region by attending community events and supporting the local leadership team.
- Maintains strong market knowledge within their Region and provide updates to the VP of Branch Services.
- Ensure branches comply with DCU's policies and procedures and adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to all member complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to Branch Managers regarding employee engagement, staff development, performance, and progressive discipline. Coaching for career pathing for the branch management team. Measure progress with periodic and annual performance evaluations.
- Provide, evaluate, and drive recommendations to improve efficiencies.
- Participate and/or lead various projects that support DCU business goals.
- As a part of DCU's Management Team, work with senior management, Directors, and Department Managers to achieve DCU's business goals, foster teamwork and strengthen positive relationships between frontline and other business areas.
- Perform other duties assigned to each Regional Manager. These duties may include supporting Branch Operations, Creating and Updating Branch Policies and Procedures, Preparing Branch Budgets, Supporting Business Development, Overseeing the Float Team, Monitoring New Hire Onboarding, Supporting Financial Wellness Driving Programs, and Community Involvement.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or requested.
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements.
Supervisory Responsibility: Supervisory position of Branch Managers. Travel: Travel is required to visit branches for various reasons and/or to attend meetings.

What You'll Need
|
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 5 years of branch supervisory and sales management experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Proven management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
