The Transplant Outreach Coordinator serves as a liaison and resource to all potential referral sources to the Hume-Lee Transplant Center of the VCUHS with the intent of increasing patient referrals for solid organ transplant evaluation. The Transplant Outreach Coordinator implements marketing strategies that increase referral base and promote the Hume-Lee Transplant brand and initiates relationships and conducts outreach and educational activities and customer service to physicians and their staff. The coordinator acts as a clinical liaison between the referring providers and referred patients and works to increase the referral pool of patients. The outreach coordinator works independently while collaborating with other members of the transplant and marketing teams.

Pediatrics (1-12 years) Adolescents (13-17 years) Adults (18-64 years) Geriatrics (65 years and older) Employment Qualifications Required Education: BS in Nursing Preferred Education: Licensure/Certification Required: Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state Licensure/Certification Preferred: Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience Min 3 years' experience as an RN, preferably with GI/ Hepatology or liver transplant experience Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Cultural Responsiveness Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. General office environment. Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Prolonged periods of working alone.
