This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote. Onsite 3 days a week. The Insurance & Patient Biller III is responsible for the full range of billing duties within the revenue cycle-from claim generation to final payment resolution. This role requires advanced knowledge and independent judgment to ensure claims are submitted accurately, followed up on diligently, and resolved in accordance with payer-specific guidelines. The Biller III will monitor, prioritize, and complete all assigned billing tasks, including resolution of claim edits, submission of appeals, processing of rejections, handling of late charges, and working denials. A strong understanding of Medicare Managed Care contracts and accounts receivable (AR) follow-up processes is essential. This position also requires proficiency in using payer portals and electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $58,213 - $72,370 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $27.88 - $34.66 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
