Manager, Lending Product Transformation & Strategy
The Manager of Lending Product Transformation & Strategy is responsible for development and implementation of a consistent business transformation and support strategy for the Lending Product Division. This includes driving business transformation objectives on a number of high priority and high visibility projects as well as continued enhancements to existing systems and processes with a focus on reducing manual processes and improving operational resiliency. Position is responsible for managing transformation objectives from ideation and requirement definition through gathering user feedback, training, change management and deployment execution. Additionally, position will be required to stay abreast of emerging industry trends and provide insights and thought leadership in developing and recommending opportunities that enable and advance revenue strategies. This position will also provide strategic Lending Products related support to partners in Commercial, Retail and Wealth Management as directed.
This position will be responsible for ensuring that all Lending opportunities align to the Enterprise 'Best Bank for Business' Strategy and are appropriately prioritized, managed and executed; will serve as liaison and work closely with executive and senior leaders across the operations, technology, financial intelligence, retail banking, lending and trade services and treasury management lines of business.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution


  • Responsible for identifying and recommending key strategic initiatives/investments that will grow revenue and drive value.
  • Support and/or facilitate strategic sessions involving the development of business objectives, product/business roadmap discussions, aligning business vision with division or enterprise strategies, aligning cross division business needs with enterprise solution
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary point person with internal partners and outside consultants on assigned portfolio of key Lending Product strategic programs
  • Participate in cross functional management groups to understand industry best practices.
  • Partner with LOB to develop and/or refine strategies to deliver a sound systemic foundation to drive increased customer acquisition and retention.


Business Enablement


  • Provide direct project leadership to ensure key strategic initiatives are executed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Partner and coordinate with various internal resources including Finance, Payments, Risk, Technology, and others to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with Lending Product Directors to innovate customer solutions.
  • Engage consultants, vendors and other third parties as needed to achieve goals.
  • Ensure strategic alignment regarding infrastructure, processes, efficiencies, and analysis between portfolio of projects and broader portfolio of Enterprise initiatives impacting Lending Products.
  • Spearhead assigned projects through strategic requirement definition, soliciting and incorporating user perspectives, and partnering to drive change management and training strategy, development and execution.
  • Lead projects or programs at the divisional or corporate level to a successful completion, independently or as part of a management team depending on complexity.
  • Act as a Consult and SME on other complex corporate initiatives to ensure Lending Product business needs, ideas and perspectives are shared and incorporated.


Customer/User Experience


  • Partner with key stakeholders to design, implement, monitor and reinforce best in class, seamless, distinguished customer and colleague experiences
  • Ensure branding and messaging of Lending Product transformation objectives are clear, effective and consistent.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure consistency in delivery and end to end efficiencies.
  • Challenge the status quo by championing transformational change to provide a best-in-class customer and colleague experience
  • Provide ongoing monitoring to ensure we are not only delivering this experience effectively, but that the targeted experience may evolve based on customer demand, industry trends, corporate goals or other macro-economic factors.


Operational Risk and Excellence


  • Responsible for delivering enhanced operational support and by extension, results, across LOB.
  • Improve operational processes across the division. Includes regular and consistent communication channels to establish framework, foundational expectations, and to be able to react and respond quickly to concerns/issues.
  • Partner with applicable risk and compliance partners to ensure processes are in place to achieve successful results in audits and maintain internal and regulatory compliance.

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 8 or more years professional experience in Financial Services
  • 5 or more years professional experience executing strategic initiatives
  • 5 or more years professional experience leading initiatives with multiple groups, executives, and stakeholders
  • 2 or more years professional experience supporting execution of technology-related projects preferred

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
