Could you be the one to make a difference? About the role As an Application Security Architect, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will lead application security initiative for product teams in the Cognizant Healthcare division, collaborating daily to ensure that the product teams meet Cognizant Security requirements and architectural standards in addition to regulatory and contractual obligations. This will also include reviewing application designs to ensure security is part of each product from the start. You will ensure solutions are appropriately assessed prior to release and work with product teams to prioritize remediation of findings from security activities. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and improve workflows while upholding our commitment to quality and continuous learning. Although testing experience will be beneficial, the role is for design-level review and guidance. In this role, you will: * Provide leadership to product teams in implementing and maintaining a Secure SDLC * Conduct formal and ad hoc security design reviews of new features and products * Review results from automated and manual testing efforts and guide remediation * Collaborate with other Application Security Architects on cross-product solutions * Research and evaluate new technologies and processes What you must have to be considered * 5+ years of application security and secure coding experience. * Expertise in implementing a secure SDLC within an Agile framework for new and existing applications. * Expertise in designing and implementing application security controls across complex and diverse environments. * Experience reviewing testing/scanning results and communicating the technical implications to development teams. * Ability to assess real-world risk and communicate that in technical and business/management contexts. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the development of reports and best practices documents. * An attitude of always learning sharing your knowledge with the team and collaborating across multiple security teams. * Strong attention to detail and self-organization skills. * Experience working remotely and with geographically separated teams. * The embodiment of Cognizant's Values of: Work as One, Dare to Innovate, Raise the Bar, Do The right Thing, & Own It These will help you succeed

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until July 10, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $145,000 - 175,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
