The mission of Internal Audit is to inspire positive change.

This position is responsible for conducting audits of company activities (performing original work and leading others to complete similar work). This position interfaces significantly with the company's Information Technology function and other departments in planning audits, communicating results and recommendations, and facilitating change. The position may also require the use and interpretation of results from the company's predictive statistical modeling tool.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Identify and assess IT risk within the Company
  • Lead the execution of the audit cycle: planning (develop audit program from scratch); fieldwork; reporting; and follow-up, leading in the completion of audits on the annual audit plan and delivering projects within expected timelines.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of areas to be audited and apply judgment, experience, and additional research to lead in the preparation of audit program work papers addressing identified risks.
  • Ensure audit risks are identified and that mitigating controls are in place and operating effectively.
  • Assist in the refinement of existing audit approach, audit programs and related control tests. Identify and document financial and business risks and related controls.
  • Summarize, in written and verbal form, results of audit procedures and control testing, including developing suggestions for improvements.
  • Supervise and coach staff in the planning, execution, and reporting of results for their assigned audit work.
  • Responsible for mentoring and developing staff and advanced auditors.
  • Execute a variety of ad hoc projects in cooperation with internal business partners across all functions.
  • This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.

What You'll Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Four years of experience in IT auditing with Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Significant ITGC experience
  • Experience as a full-time IT Audit employee vs. IT Audit contractor.
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with SOX control testing preferred
  • CIA, CISA or similar certification preferred
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, such as UiPath or data analytics such as Alteryx
  • Prior experience supervising the work of others is preferred
