We are looking for a driven Purchasing Specialist to oversee procurement activities that support daily operations and long-term production goals. Key Responsibilities


  • Manage daily procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO (maintenance, repair, operations) supplies



  • Review purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders (POs)



  • Source vendors, request quotes, and negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and terms



  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder to maintain just-in-time stock for production needs



  • Track and expedite orders to meet production deadlines and resolve delivery issues



  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure alignment of supply needs



  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and vendor databases



  • Assist with cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance evaluations



  • Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems




Qualifications


  • 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting)



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP system experience strongly preferred



  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills



  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment



  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus
