Staffmark is hiring a Sanitation Technician to join a food-safe, high-quality dry food processing facility. In this essential role, you'll play a key part in upholding cleanliness and safety standards across production, warehouse, and facility areas.

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Responsibilities:



  • Clean production and warehouse areas using dry methods
  • Empty waste bins throughout the facility
  • Operate floor scrubber and maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Process recyclables using baler and manage janitorial supplies
  • Follow sanitation schedule and GMP standards
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and report safety issues
  • Occasionally operate powered equipment (e.g., forklift, scissor lift)
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic English and recordkeeping skills
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment (sweepers, scrubbers)
  • Willing to train on powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Prior sanitation or warehouse cleaning experience preferred
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks on your feet
