The Standards Jobs Admin is responsible for aiding in the design of the dealerships standard job program and will be responsible for the long-term operations of the program.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Document solid research that supports the service labor hour standards.
  • Oversee standard job codes and monitoring overall performance of the standard jobs program.
  • Make dealership wide recommendations to improve utilization of standard jobs and/or repair templates.
  • Address needs with PM standard jobs with urgency.
  • Oversee a PM quoting process designed for fast effective quoting at time of machine sale.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of establishment engaged in standard jobs to sales and service personnel involved in business operations of the dealership by performing the following duties.
  • Collect standard service repair work data and compiling into useful information.
  • Provide prompt response to incoming calls and return of voice messages.
  • Develop and recommend repair labor time guidelines.
  • Work within the organization to gain support of all work.
  • Develop and upkeep a standard job program.
  • Prepare and assist with PM Service quotes.
  • Develop methods of tracking performance of standard jobs.
  • Maintain a positive approach to customers and service personnel within the dealership.
  • Oversee processes to keep standard job parts price in sync with CAT prices and responsible for logging and tracking standard job and quoting requests.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Proactively establish positive working relationships with others by demonstrating excellent behavior flexibility and effective communication skills.
  • Ensure company policies, safety policies, and work processes are followed and in compliance.
  • Complete assigned tasks within required time deadlines.
  • Utilize Caterpillar Repair Option Builder software.
  • Utilize Caterpillar Calculator software for quoting Customer Service Agreements.
  • Perform and /or oversee weekly meetings with staff.
  • Multi-task and excel in a fast paced work environment.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • Strong Product Support background and a solid understanding of the entire repair process within a complex dealership.
  • Demonstrated exceptional soft skills and urgency when dealing with any requests relevant to this position.
  • Basic knowledge of Caterpillar Dealer Business System (DBS).
  • Associates degree from accredited college or university in a related field and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Strong communication skills to include receiving, conveying, and interpreting information in written, verbal, and/or diagram form.
