Billing Clerk

Acara Solutions is hiring a Billing Clerk with our client located in downtown Buffalo, NY.

Duration: 6-month contract

Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00/HR, on experience

Key Duties:

• Enter claims and manual checks; assist with check runs
• Maintain internal and client-facing Excel spreadsheets
• Set up ACH payments in JPMC
• Support mailroom tasks: open, scan, sort, and route high-priority items
• Log client data and handle bounced checks
• Coordinate with the claims processing team via email

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School or GED is required
  
• Minimum 1 year of clerical support is required
  
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with ability to navigate SharePoint & OneDrive
