Responsibilities

Function as receptionist in Recovery Services administrative area by providing a welcoming, hospitable area for patients, visitors, vendors, and staff and provide clerical support for designated Recovery Services staff and other areas.

  • Enhances leader's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others
  • Assist in special projects as directed by Leader, to include but not limited to:

    • Provide support to major department initiatives to include PowerPoint development, communication with key stakeholders and implementation of programming

    • Provide background material and create reports for internal and external use

    • Follow-up and other duties as assigned

  • Other Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with leadership team, executive assistants and SLC assistants to establish standardized procedures and complete tasks.

    • Knowledge of Hazelden Betty Ford's mission, philosophy, values, and programs and services.

    • Knowledge and understanding of Hazelden Betty Ford's records management policies and procedures.

    • Knowledge of and ability to apply Hazelden Betty Ford's policy on confidentiality.

    • Knowledge of the Twelve Step philosophy and chemical dependency.


Qualifications

Required

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio)
  • 1-3 years' related administrative experience
  • Proven ability to schedule and host virtual meetings (such as WebEx)
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and balance heavy workload while managing frequent interruptions
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills (such as greeting visitors, answering and routing phone calls, coordinating work activities with staff etc.)

Preferred

  • Vocational or technical training (2 years or more)
  • Prior experience with scheduling for healthcare
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications
