Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• We are looking for a Bridge CAD Technician & Inspector to create design drawings for bridge projects and inspect bridges.
• The candidate will have the opportunity to create drawings for new and rehabilitated bridge projects of various size and scope.
• Additionally, the candidate will initially assist with onsite bridge inspections but, over time, will lead onsite bridge inspections.
• Create drawings using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD).
• Follow client, Department of Transportation (DOT), and internal codes and standards of practice.
• Draft and review plan sheets for bridge construction projects.
• Produce plan details (typical sections, reinforcement bar bending diagrams, reinforced concrete details, steel beam details)
• Work and coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers.
• Assist with onsite bridge inspections, data entry, and bridge inspection reports.
• Manage bridge inspection equipment, schedule bridge inspection personnel.
• Eventually lead onsite bridge inspections.

Pay: $ 65000 - $ 89000 / year

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of bridge CADD experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to assist with bridge inspection (field work)
• Knowledge of INDOT bridge standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of INDOT bridge inspection guidelines.
