The Economics of Transformative AI Initiative (EconTAI) is a new research forum at the University of Virginia, led by Anton Korinek, Professor in the Department of Economics. Our mission is to research the economic implications of advanced AI and policies to navigate the transition. The initiative is seeking a Manager or Associate Director to support its mission. Minimum Requirements Preferred Qualifications
For candidates focused on administrative and operational responsibilities, this position is at the Manager level and is part-time (20 hours/week, 0.5 FTE). For candidates with research qualifications (Master's degree required), the position may be at the Associate Director and full-time (40 hours/week, 1.0 FTE) with additional research coordination responsibilities.
