We are looking for a strategic, hands-on and results-driven SEO Manager to lead and elevate our organic search visibility and performance across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve rankings, and increase conversions across our digital properties. You will lead a team of SEO Coordinators and Technical SEO Specialists, ensuring alignment across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO efforts.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or IT related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of SEO experience, including 1-2 years in a team leadership or management role.

Who you are:

  • Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals across content, technical, and outreach disciplines.
  • Strong experience collaborating with content and web teams to deliver integrated digital strategies.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Conductor, GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or content-driven businesses.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
  • Basic understanding of CRO, UX, and site architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. AEM, SAP Commerce, WordPress, Drupal).
  • Experience working in Agile environments or using project management tools like Workfront, Jira, Trello, or Asana

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Manage and mentor a team of SEO Coordinators and Technical SEO Specialists.
    • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth and development.
    • Foster collaboration across content, web development, and marketing teams to align SEO initiatives.
    • Align team efforts with overall business and marketing objectives.
  • SEO Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and off-page areas.
    • Conduct and oversee keyword research, competitive analysis, content gap identification, and performance audits.
    • Define KPIs, monitor results, and communicate SEO performance and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Collaborate with content strategy and marketing teams to ensure SEO insights inform content planning, editorial calendars and campaigns.
    • Partner with web production and digital strategy teams to prioritize and implement technical SEO improvements, site structure updates, and enhancements to UX and site performance.
    • Ensure alignment between SEO objectives and broader digital strategies across teams.
  • Technical SEO Oversight:
    • Partner closely with the Technical SEO Specialist to identify and resolve crawl issues, site speed problems, and other technical SEO challenges.
    • Ensure technical best practices are consistently applied across all web properties.
  • Content Optimization:
    • Oversee content audits and guide optimization of existing and new pages for improved SEO performance.
    • Ensure proper implementation of SEO elements including title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, and schema markup.
  • Tools & Reporting:
    • Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor, Screaming Frog, and others to analyze performance and identify opportunities.
    • Provide regular updates on performance, insights, and optimization plans to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Industry Awareness
    • Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to proactively adjust strategy.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$102,200.00 - $170,300.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
