Position Title: Onsite Outage Administrative Support Type: 4 to 6 Month Contract Location: South Texas Project (STP), Bay City, Texas This position requires coordinating, organizing, and performing a variety of duties necessary to support our customer on-site before, during, or after outages. The day-to-day responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive; they outline the primary expectations of this outage role. Functions and responsibilities may vary, depending on the time of the outage. Key Job Duties:
- Receive and process various outage management documents, compile pertinent information into various records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the following: email, various software packages, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook, data management tools,
- Coordinate and monitor in-processing and access at the site for designated Westinghouse subcontractors.
- Act as the point of contact to assist with in-processing, except for matters related to Access Authorization or Fitness for Duty Program, including but not limited to the development/rollout of the in-processing schedule.
- Ensure all matters related to Access Authorization are promptly referred to the WECTEC Supervisor or Lead Coordinator.
- Maintain and log all correspondence and related paperwork regarding the site, Westinghouse subcontractors.
- Perform, meet, and greet onsite for incoming Westinghouse crews, including contractor personnel working with Westinghouse.
- Perform necessary duties for escorted access for management visits, group project managers and site tours.
- Provide all other administrative support, including but not limited to, escorting personnel onto site and around the site and other duties as assigned by supervisor or project managers.
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures involving confidential and proprietary information relating to the department and division.
- Ability to keep in confidence all material and information entrusted.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assists with time entry when necessary and resolve or assist with resolutions of pay issues.
- May escalate issues to manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
- Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws, and regulations.
- Comply with South Texas Projects (STP) rules and regulations.
- Coordinate the Access process with candidates and Access Team.
- Assist with other projects assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Communicate effectively in technical environment
- High school graduate or the recognized equivalent required.
- Prior Nuclear Plant experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain "Unescorted Access" status.
- Reliable transportation to the site daily.
- Shift work typically 40 hours per week but may require longer hours during outages.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures involving confidential and proprietary information relating to the department.
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
