Leads business implementation initiatives that translate strategic priorities into operational impact. Supports portfolio leads by owning the execution layer of transformation efforts-driving requirements, aligning stakeholders, identifying risks, and monitoring post-launch outcomes. Manages complex cross-functional efforts that span operations, systems, data, and process change. Utilizes strong project management skills with operational fluency, systems awareness, and critical thinking.

What You Will Do

  • Ensures that all projects and operational components are designed and executed to coherently achieve strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Defines core processes and maps current states for redesign projects and assists with solution design. Provides facilitation support at meetings as needed. Develops positive working relationships with VNS Health stakeholders.
  • Conducts discovery, reviews available artifacts, and drafts foundational documentation before stakeholder engagement to ensure momentum.
  • Develops a strong understanding of VNS Health Plans strategic business objectives and business unit operations to guide implementation. Articulates business issues and designs project approaches.
  • Tracks and reports out on performance of initiatives during implementation and post-implementation for up to a 12-month performance management period.
  • Proposes execution and performance management plan based on initial scoping, review of key project documents, and self-research of internal and external sources.
  • Leads structured implementation efforts from early discovery and requirements through design, build, test, go-live, and post-launch support. Identifies and responds to changing project circumstances and communicates issues to project leadership. Takes a flexible, team player approach, willing to "pitch in" whenever and wherever needed. Initiates and leads project evaluation process at project close.
  • Creates and delivers of presentations on project status and outcomes to management.
  • Supports operational readiness, change management, training, and adoption during and after go-live.
  • Oversees and participates in interdisciplinary and interdepartmental work groups. Assists in the facilitation of work group meetings, as needed.
  • Demonstrates department's commitment to excellent customer service through prompt responses to all internal and external customers. Represents the department's capabilities and mission effectively to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or a related field required
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field preferred

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five years progressive experience in health care consulting, operations, financial analysis, or related discipline OR two years experience plus a Master's Degree required
  • Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Suite including analytical and project management tools required
  • Project management and facilitation skills required
  • Six Sigma project experience preferred
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving tech, operations, or process redesign required
  • Healthcare Operations, Data Analysis and/or healthcare system knowledge preferred

Pay Range

USD $93,400.00 - USD $116,800.00 /Yr.
