Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Program Analyst to support quality assurance, performance monitoring, and internal coordination efforts across the Charleston, Infrastructure, Environmental, and Facilities (CHIEF) Line of Business. This role focuses on supporting U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) program delivery by supporting the implementation of standardized quality frameworks, tracking performance metrics, and aligning execution with client expectations and internal strategic goals. The Program Analyst participates in all aspects of program support, including planning, scheduling, data tracking, and performance reporting through supporting the Managing Director, Senior Managers, and QA/QC Manager they ensure projects are executed to established standards and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of supporting high-impact programs through structured quality support, reporting, and internal collaboration.



Responsibilities

Program Support & Quality Assurance Coordination:

    Assist with the design, documentation, and implementation of quality control processes supporting USMC project requirements with a strategic outlook towards standardizing quality control across the CHIEF Line of Business.
  • Support the collection, organization, and tracking of project deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with project managers to apply quality frameworks and identify areas for improvement in operational performance.
  • Support process reviews and assist in implementing improvements for logistics workflows and IT asset tracking.

Data-Driven Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, checklists, trackers, and logs that support ongoing QA/QC oversight.
  • Support root cause analysis, trend identification, and risk assessments related to operational or quality issues.
  • Consolidate performance and quality data into digestible reports for leadership use.

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Document lessons learned, coordinate after-action reviews, and support the rollout of updated SOPs and workflows.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training and knowledge-sharing tools for project staff.
  • Promote collaboration and cross-project knowledge exchange to encourage repeatable success.

Internal Corporate Duties and Strategic Contributions:

  • Drive knowledge sharing by documenting and promoting best practices across projects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning into Nakupuna's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Promote performance excellence by supporting Nakupuna and CHIEF Strategic Management Plan by identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and efficiency gains across the CHIEF Line of Business.
  • Engage in business development by contributing to pipeline tracking, proposal responses, bid-board preparation, and strategy development to support Nakupuna's multi-year growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure program teams are fully supported with timely resources, administrative coordination, and operational assistance.
  • Execute performance management by helping define goals, tracking progress, documenting results, and supporting performance conversations across project teams.
  • Support talent acquisition and staffing by participating in interviews, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure projects are adequately resourced.


Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: Excellent leadership qualities and leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, adept with strategic planning and management, self-starter, exceptional written and oral communication, strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, proficient at multi-tasking, and effective organizational skills. Adept at operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environments.

Education/Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution as well as 3-7 years of experience in program analysis, project coordination, or quality assurance roles, preferably within government contracting or DoD environments.

The following are desired:

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, or other quality management principles preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools used for data tracking and reporting (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Experience supporting logistics, facilities, or IT asset programs is a plus.

Clearance Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel to Nakupuna Offices or Government Installations up to 5% of the time.

Work Location: This position resides at Nakupuna's offices located in Arlington, VA, no fewer than 3 days a week.
