Overview

As a Wireline Telecom General Manager, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community.

We are looking for great managers all over!

Must have experience and knowledge in leading teams in underground construction fiber to the home.

Wireline experience mandatory for this role.

PL Experience in driving revenue.

Customer facing experience.


Responsibilities

About the Role:
An established and growing company in the telecom infrastructure sector is seeking a results-driven General Manager to oversee operations, team leadership, and strategic initiatives for underground fiber construction projects. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the financial performance, project execution, customer relations, and overall success of operations within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including construction supervisors, project managers, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Drive revenue through efficient resource management and strategic prioritization of customer needs.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee and improve operational processes, safety compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Handle forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis; prepare regular financial and performance reports.
  • Foster team development through performance evaluations, training, and career path planning.
  • Represent the company in vendor, subcontractor, and customer interactions.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and lead metrics-driven safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in telecom or underground construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fiber-to-the-home and wireline infrastructure.
  • Experience with profit/loss responsibility and driving financial performance.
  • Proven background in managing customer relationships and delivering on service-level expectations.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance metrics (e.g., SSO, TRIR, DART).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • You understand basic accounting principals
