Pay Range: $34,000 - $48,000

Job Summary:

The Account Manager will foster strong relationships as the primary point of contact, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping retailers informed about progress and updates. They will work closely with sales, supply planning, logistic partners, and other internal and external teams to proactively identify client needs and challenges, create and execute strategic plans to improve retailer satisfaction; and to ensure timely and effective resolution for all inquiries, complaints, and issues.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):



  • Responsible for order tracking and completion, partnering with internal/external team members to ensure timely delivery and order closure.
  • Monitor the open order bank to ensure order progression, identifying and working with necessary team members to resolve any outliers and missed deliveries impacting SLA.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to order fulfillment, accounting and other customer or Sales requests.
  • Resolution and coordination of product availability, production scheduling, and transportation resources.
  • Analyze reports for internal and customer review, take-action to prevent or minimize impact of order fulfillment failures.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to identify and resolve order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of EDI and other electronic ordering systems to be able to support, trouble-shoot, and resolve any issues impacting order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for keeping all portals and customer required interfaces current and up to date.
  • Will be expected to be a primary or secondary back-up on other key accounts.
  • Work in a team environment across multiple functions (Customer Service, Manufacturing/Assembly, Logistics, Accounting, Sales and the Customer Account) to provide a high quality of service.
  • Provide regular updates to Supervisor/Manager, Sales Representative, and customer account as required.
  • Be a voice/advocate for the customer as well as a responsible representative of Tempur-Sealy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to multitask within several computer systems while on the phone
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to complete the Home Office Safety Checklist and Information Technology Requirements
