The Occupational Therapy Fellow is currently licensed to practice occupational therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented neurologic rehabilitation program. These services are offered via rehabilitation service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with neurologic related injuries. The team members report to the rehabilitation manager(s) as part of the OSUWMC Rehabilitation Services program structure. The Occupational Therapy Fellow works under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager(s), Program Director and Associate Director of Education and Professional Development. The Occupational Therapy Fellow evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of occupational therapy in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to a team leader or manager, they are also responsible to each other, staff occupational therapists, to those they supervise, and to other participants included in the patient care activities. Minimum Qualifications All Occupational Therapy Fellows must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board as well as any additional program admissions criteria. Maintains professional licensure and BLS certification; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. |
