Pay: What does a Dispatcher do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In this role you will assist in planning product for Direct Store Delivery (DSD), ensuring that maximum efficiency/lowest possible cost delivery methods are applied to all DSD planned loads. You will play a key role in our Supply Chain group & will report to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Job details: Shift- 8am - 5pm (Mon - Fri, Shift start time may vary from 8am - 10am start time, some OT)
Pay- $22/hr
Responsibilities include:
- Utilize Planning and Load Creation Software to identify and provide the lowest cost delivery solution to the assigned Distribution Centers
- Partner with Support Departments and Distribution Center management teams to continuously improve our database of information that drives planning solutions in our planning software
- Provide daily communication to Distribution Center management on labor and equipment needs based on volume, workload, time, cubes, weight, etc. for delivery
- Plan actual product sold for appropriate delivery day
- Work with Distribution Center Management teams to ensure that driver efficiencies are maximized, and the low-cost delivery solution is used in every applicable situation
- Develop of drivers' routes and validate pallet builds
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- 2+ years of Inventory, Transportation and Planning
- Experience with computers is required; MS Office Suite Products
- Familiar with SAP Supply chain knowledge & Inventory Control knowledge
- Ability to adjust to shift work or overtime
