This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of faculty success and academic excellence at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The person in this role will play a vital part in shaping the faculty experience by supporting appointments, promotion and tenure reviews, and helping to build a strong mentoring culture across the School. You'll be a key advisor and partner to faculty and leadership alike, ensuring academic personnel processes are both efficient and supportive. Day-to-day, you'll manage critical academic review cycles, maintain and refine digital platforms like Interfolio, and lead initiatives that enhance professional development and faculty growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who values precision, service, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic academic community. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage faculty onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes including appointments, promotions, tenure, and post-tenure review.
- Lead annual Faculty Annual Review (FAR) and Appointment, Promotion and Tenure (APT) processes using Interfolio, including training, workflow design, and system maintenance.
- Provide guidance and administrative support to faculty, department chairs, and review committees throughout the evaluation process.
- Review dossiers for policy alignment and coordinate external evaluations, reviewer lists, and submission to the EVCASA Office.
- Oversee and support SSPPS faculty mentoring programs and related reporting requirements.
- Plan and implement faculty development initiatives, including training, events, impact assessments, and resource management.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty and leadership to improve faculty experience, advocate for needs, and support academic affairs operations.

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Four (4) or more years of work experience in academic or faculty affairs and/or human resources.
- Two (2) or more years of project or program management experience.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience with information systems including Interfolio, Smartsheet, Excel spreadsheet.
- Experience working in higher education and/or an academic medical campus.
- Experience with academic affairs, faculty affairs, or human resources in higher education or a school of pharmacy setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to strategize, prioritize, plan, and implement operational activities.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to resolve sensitive matters involving personnel using tact, diplomacy, knowledge, and sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Consistent respect for individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.
- Ability to support an inclusive, collaborative culture that enhances community and promotes positive experiences for employees, students, and patients.
- High level of attention and accuracy.
- Thorough knowledge of current management and leadership methods and best practices.
- General knowledge of database and Peoplesoft tools.

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $63,554 - $80,840. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
