Summary:

The Area Manager, Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of the plant, site, and all equipment. Primary duties include maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel and ensure that safety standards are adhered to per company policy and regulations. The Area Manager, Maintenance will ensure that production facilities, machinery, and equipment meet or exceed production requirements wile conforming to TPM, PMs, and regulatory requirements, at minimum operating costs. Floor Time - 60% or greater.

Responsibilities:



  • Prioritizes maintenance resources
  • Identifies technical training needs
  • Driver of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and metrics
  • Attends work group meetings as required
  • Responsible for maintenance budget and 5-year Capital and Expense planning
  • Accountable of meeting or exceeding business targets


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field)
  • 5+ years in manufacturing management
  • Electrical Engineering / Controls experience is a preferred
  • Experience managing a team preferred


Physical Demands:

  • The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in a manufacturing setting (noise level is high). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an manufacturing environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
  • The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
  • The employee may be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and perform other tasks related to an industrial environment.
  • The job may require travel.
