Position Description:

The Finance Director plays a key part as a leader on the finance team with exposure to C-level executives of Kidney Care. The role is suited for an individual who likes diving into analytics, has strong communication skills (both written and oral), and is a team player. We are looking for smart, talented and fun people to help drive financial performance and shape strategy for our Kidney Care business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the $10 billion Kidney Care operating plan, and help drive performance to meet Board and Wall Street targets
  • Evaluate returns on investments for various strategic initiatives; and responsible for allocating capital and setting the budget for the labor component of our enterprise
  • Identify opportunities and risk areas on the P&L to help the CEO, COO and CFO of Kidney care manage the business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions to complex issues that help improve financial and operating performance
  • Develop a talented and cohesive team

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business or related area of study
  • 5+ years of experience in operational finance or corporate finance role at a medium or large size firm
  • Experience as an internal business consultant - build relationships with teammates while offering analysis and recommending corrective actions based on emerging trends
  • MBA or other Master's degree from a highly regarded business school a plus
  • Intellectually curious and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Solid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details and take initiative
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to effectively with teammates both internal and external to the finance function at multiple levels and through multiple mediums
  • Organization and time management skills - manages through ambiguity, prioritizes multiple projects to meet business partner needs
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase and/or Anaplan a plus
  • Team player with a great attitude who has fun at work
  • Recommended, but not required: exposure to talent and people management skills - screen/interview candidates, deliver/document performance feedback, manage/address performance issues, identity High Potential talent, recommend promotions and provide career guidance and mentorship

Salary/ Wage Range

$121,200.00-$177,900.00 / year
