We are growing, and we're looking for an experienced Fleet Sales Manager with a deep knowledge of Allison Transmission products to help us expand our market presence across key industries.

As the Fleet Sales Manager - Allison Transmission, you'll be responsible for developing and growing sales with fleet customers, OEMs, and vehicle upfitters. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers optimize their fleet performance with Allison Transmission solutions across multiple industries, including:

  • Transit and municipal fleets
  • Refuse and recycling operations
  • Construction and vocational fleets
  • Emergency services (fire/rescue)
  • Last-mile delivery and distribution

Requirements

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and secure new fleet business opportunities for Allison Transmission products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with fleet managers, OEM partners, upfitters, and vehicle dealers.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations highlighting Allison's performance, reliability, and lifecycle cost advantages.
  • Manage bids and proposals for public and private fleet contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal service, warranty, and engineering teams to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, alternative propulsion technologies, regulatory changes, and grant programs.
  • Attend trade shows, expos, and industry events to promote Allison Transmission and Penn Power Group.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in heavy-duty vehicle systems, transmissions, or powertrain products.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Allison Transmission (1000-9000 Series, eGen Power, hybrid, or vocational applications).
  • Proven track record of developing and closing sales opportunities with fleet customers and OEMs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with public procurement processes, government grants, and fleet funding programs is a plus.
  • Ability to travel regularly to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Existing relationships with transit agencies, municipalities, or commercial fleet operators.
  • Allison Transmission sales or service certifications a plus.
