Responsibilities

A Typical Day Might Include:

Product Management:

    Drive the definition and ownership of the product vision and roadmap for cutting-edge AI-driven tools customized for AEC workflows, such as generative design, predictive maintenance, and construction automation.
  • Translate industry-specific challenges into actionable products and stakeholder requirements for project success.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and Consultants, to develop and execute impactful AI solutions and innovative projects.
  • Prioritize projects and product features based on user value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Conduct market research and user interviews within the AEC and AI domain to inform product/project direction.

Program/Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional projects through the lifecycle of AI and Innovation programs-from ideation-feasibility assessment-Prototyping-Implementation. This includes agile software design life cycle (SDLC) methodologies: Requirements and diagramming, Proof of Concepts (POCs) to Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to prototyping POCs to development Concepts (POCs) to Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) then to scale or function teams. Deployment to scale for enterprise or function teams. Frequent utilization of agile methodologies.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets, ensuring alignment with agile principles.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to projects: could include related to Ai model performance, data quality, compliance and governance, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure effective change management processes are in place to facilitate smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Communicate program/project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.


Qualifications

Qualifications You'll Need on Day One:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Architecture, or Project Management related field. Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in product or project management, with a preference for candidates holding PMP or SDLC certifications, and a minimum of 2 years dedicated to AI/ML/LLM technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing technical projects by ensuring clear communication, defining work scopes, and driving toward successful project outcomes.
  • Proven track record of collaborative project execution across a global team of stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience within the AEC industry is highly desirable, along with a comprehensive understanding of industry workflows. Proficiency in tools and APIs like Revit, AutoCAD, and ACC Autodesk construction cloud is also a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML/LLM models and frameworks and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, OpenAI, AWS, Nvidia NIMs or other open-source frameworks).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills a must.
  • Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
