Overview
Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices. Summary: The Data Liaison will support the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) initiative for goldbeltfed.gov. This role will play a critical part in the data migration process, ensuring the secure, accurate, and efficient transfer of data in compliance with CMMC requirements.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, data owners, and project stakeholders during the data migration process.
- Coordinate and facilitate data mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation activities.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with CMMC standards throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks.
- Document data flows, migration procedures, and metadata for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support testing and verification of migrated data to ensure successful implementation.
- Provide regular updates and reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with CMMC frameworks and federal cybersecurity compliance standards.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data migration, data governance, or data analysis roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework and its data handling requirements.
- Experience with data mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with federal government data systems.
- Project management or liaison experience in IT or cybersecurity environments.
