Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Process & Data Automation Supervisor, supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB in Arnold, TN. The Process & Data Automation Supervisor will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for [e.g. operating and maintaining or supporting] the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal candidates only. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally (e.g. application upgrades) work outside normal business hours.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a detailed-oriented Supervisor who will lead and guide a Business Process & Data Automation team migrating business process from an Arnold Test Mission Support System (ATMSS) legacy application to a modern low-code/no-code Business Process Management (BPM)/Business Process Automation (BPA) set of tools; and enhance current business processes and automate other not yet automated processes. This role requires a unique blend of process improvement, business requirements collection, documentation and analysis combined with technical implementation and leadership skills.

Job Duties:

    Lead and support staff responsible for supporting the existing legacy ATMSS process and data automation applications such as ENOVIA and the current BPM/BPA tool called Process Director.
  • Primary responsibility of overseeing electronic automated processes/workflow, data automation, and reporting systems that directly support AEDC business processes within ATMSS.
  • Coordinate project plan schedules.
  • Work assignments for Business Process Automation Specialists, Analysts and the Application Administrator(s) of the ATMSS process and data automation applications.
  • Work with requirement stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Create, track and monitor progress of ATMSS process and data automation applications enhancement implementation.
  • Create and coordinate the required outages of ATMSS process and data automation applications.
  • Lead software lifecycle aspects that include requirements documentation, design documentation, configuration management, testing, implementation plans, etc.
  • Conducts annual performance reviews of employees in accordance with approved BNH procedures and actively participates in the development of employee goals/objectives.
  • Ensure employees have appropriate training and certifications as required by Government regulations.
  • Ensures that requests for action or information are relayed to appropriate staff members; ensures that information is furnished in a timely manner; decides whether a higher authority should be notified of important or emergency matters.
  • Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
  • Provide support to AEDC Customer and other contractors.
  • Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are consistently documented, maintained, evaluated and compliant for the ATMSS BPM/BPA applications currently in use.
  • Periodically evaluates process and program effectiveness and takes action to maintain continuous improvement.
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures and contributes to the safety of co-workers and the general public.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science or Information Systems with a minimum of 8 years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant IS/IT experience.
  • Leadership/Supervisor experience required
  • Project Management/Leadership experience required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD security clearance
  • Project Management experience (Resources, Schedule, and Cost)
  • Software development lifecycle methodologies including waterfall and agile.
  • Some prior experience managing a test, capital improvement, maintenance, training, or overhead project, or at least a portion of a project budget.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
