Join our dynamic team as a Ski Resort Rental Manager and embark on an exciting adventure in the heart of the mountains! We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead our rental department with enthusiasm and a focus on creating memorable experiences for our employees and guests. As the Rental Manager, you will not only oversee the operations but also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of winter sports. This position combines your love for skiing, your knowledge of ski products, and your expertise in rental management to deliver a fun and fulfilling career opportunity.

  • This position requires extensive knowledge of ski resorts, a genuine passion for the industry, and exceptional expertise in ski products and Siriusware.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • It's important for the Ski Resort Rental Manager to prioritize safety, enforce safety protocols, and provide proper training to staff to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and guests.


Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of skiing and snowboarding equipment, including boots, skis, snowboards, bindings, and related accessories.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with guests of all ages and skill levels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with ski resort operations, mountain geography, and local skiing/snowboarding conditions is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of ski resorts, including terrain, facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Passion for the ski industry, demonstrated through personal experience and a genuine enthusiasm for skiing and snowboarding.
  • Strong familiarity with ski products, equipment, and their features, including the latest advancements and trends.
  • Proven expertise in rental management software, particularly Siriusware, including inventory management, point-of-sale transactions, and reporting functions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a ski resort setting.
  • The job may require performing duties such as lifting and shoveling snow, working in adverse weather conditions, and working in direct sun.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ski resort rental management or a related field.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
