Lenovo Commercial Services Product Development Director

Position Description:

The Lenovo Global Product Services Product Development Director is responsible for building Services products and offerings through the management of a team of Product & Project Managers. This person will understand the Services market and build a point of view on the new services needed in this space & the improvements that need to be driven for existing offers.

This role works with Lenovo Services geographies and other internal stakeholders worldwide to understand priorities and align on product strategy and roadmaps. This manager is expected to continue to build his or her team by hiring talented individuals with the right experiences and skill sets that fit into the team culture. This candidate should have strong leadership skills, ability to communicate at all levels, and be able to independently create a vision and drive results.

Position Requirements:

• Work closely with other development leaders within Lenovo (Hardware, Services, Software, etc) to align strategies and ensure cohesive product portfolio
• Work closely with geographies and other Services organizations worldwide to understand priorities & turn this into plans for driving results
• Clear understanding of current and future technologies and how they can be leveraged to provide innovative solutions to our customers
• Attract, hire, lead, coach and retain world class team members
• Experience and ability to lead teams toward clear targets and within a complex and process-oriented matrix organization
• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational improvement through individual skill development along with targeted process enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience, covering IT and/or Services and product development
• Management experience preferred, especially experience building effective teams
• Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
• Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally
