We are seeking an Admissions Manager who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for seniors!

Qualified candidates for this position offer:

  • Education:Associate's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Experience:Minimum of 5 year's experience in a health care setting.

  • Travel:Sometimes: 25-50%

  • Must have strong working computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly. Must be self-directed with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and assignments concurrently. Must be able to successfully lead others in an environment of complexity.

The Admissions Manager assumes responsibility for implementing the polices and procedures to successfully meet the goals and initiatives for the admissions area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the admissions and discharge process for the SNF to include managing the facility inquiry and admissions processes by developing census and quality mix, managing the admissions process for prospective and incoming residents, maintaining high visibility networking within the community, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Manages the admissions process to ensure that tours are executed according to training, appropriate follow-up calls and documentation are completed accurately and timely.

  • Responsible for resolving any compliance issues regarding admissions procedures.

  • Supervises the social services processes of admissions into the SNF and medically approved discharges from the facility; ensuring seamless transition with directing services to residents and their families due to challenges/concerns to any adjustments to new services; and ensuring accurate and timely information, referral services and staff consultation is provided.

  • Responsible for assisting social worker with Medicaid applications and resource allocations.

  • Visits referral sources to establish networking, participates in the development of public relations activities, utilizes community resources and assists in the development of advertising strategies. Organizes and conducts open houses, special events within the community to promote the facility.

  • Responsible for the maintaining of records of requests for information, records of future residents, and takes referral calls, maintains inquiry file, data entry into required systems.

  • Set-up admissions to the facility to include completion of contract signings and all necessary documentation, insurance verifications, tracking preauthorization/review for managed care residents.

  • Ensures the maintenance of daily census tracking and reporting as well as the production of weekly, monthly, and yearly reports necessary to track leads, source, and census availability. Responsible for addressing any gaps and inefficiencies.

  • Maintains and manages monthly marketing budgets, submits invoice timely.

  • Assists and trains non-marketing staff with their understanding and appreciation of the concept.

  • Communicates necessary information to all campus departments and managers.

  • Ensures the completion of daily room and facility checks.

  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans, follow up on changes and other communication, problem-solve, receive staff support and in-service education.
