Operator Journeyman

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Operator Journeyman.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Operate the following equipment based on the requirements of the project:

1. Blade 2. Dozer 3. Loader 4. Scraper 5. Forklift/Telehandler 6. Crane 7. Bobcat/Skid-steer 8. Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts 9. Roller

B. Follow prescribed safety regulations

C. Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area

D. Perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning

E. Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction

F. Follow work plans and pre-task cards

G. Provide leadership to other team members and apprentices by displaying resourcefulness, starting work habits, and creativity in problem solving based on information and judgment

H. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

I. All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements

*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

The base pay range for this role is $37.62 per hour.
