Test Engineering Technologist- Software Validation

Primary responsibility is Software Validation of Altanium Hot Runner Controller product line. Secondary priorities involve general laboratory-based tasks and assignments as required.

Key Responsibilities

*Work with Software Testers, Designers, and Developers on Agile product teams to identify and resolve software issues under the direction of the technical lead

*Evaluate and verify issues discovered, log probable software defects with specific steps to reproduce and supporting documents as required

*Develop summary reports for entire tests performed and assign actions as required

*Ensure completeness and accuracy of software validation records

*Set up suitable application test coverage requirements

*Create and implement test cases on project requirements

Qualifications

*Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills

*A high level of attention to detail and creative problem solving

*Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities in parallel while maintaining a high quality of work

*Strong hands-on aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools

*Must be able to work effectively in both independent and collaborative environments

*Good understanding of the basic principles of electricity

*Proficiency in using Word & Excel and the Microsoft Windows environment

Above and beyond qualifications

*Experience in new product software validation

*Experience developing, testing, using, and troubleshooting industrial control systems

*Experience with electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
