RESPONSIBILITIES As an Electrical Engineer specializing in aircraft instrumentation system design, you will play a vital role in the integration of airborne instrumentation systems for the U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command at the Redstone Test Center. Your primary responsibilities will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining electrical wiring systems for testing instrumentation, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for the latest cutting-edge DOD aircraft and subsystems. Key responsibilities include: * Providing technical advice and serve as the technical interface between the Government customers, interacting with commercial vendors, participating in meetings and producing technical detailed products. * Designing and creating aircraft instrumentation systems that integrate various airborne systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality within complex military aviation platforms. * Developing and updating existing documentation for system integration, flight test support, and operational use. * Collaborating as a team with fellow electrical engineers, flight test engineers, mechanical engineers, and systems integrators to design instrumentation systems that meet the stringent demands of military aviation. * Providing technical support to flight operations teams by ensuring that electrical systems and wiring adhere to specifications and operational requirements.
