Procurement Analyst

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a Procurement Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385).

Provide assistance with overarching Logistics support to the PMS 385 Post Delivery team in the areas of sourcing, procurement, coordination and delivery of material required to support ship post delivery availabilities.

• Assist in analyzing and developing logistics plans to support production, distribution, and inventory.

• Develop and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize cost and schedule efficiencies.

• Participation in availability planning meetings, working groups and integrated product teams, as required.

• Highschool Diploma/GED with 1+ Years' Experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field (Preferred)
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in logistical support
• Active Secret Clearance
